Hey Again! I hope your all doing well, Sorry this post was a bit late, I was at the opticians and lost track of time!! Today’s blog post is something a little different, the end of January has soon come upon us and one of my new years resolution’s was to document my months and memories in some shape or form. Since I’ve recently started up my blog, I thought it would be a great idea to publish it on here, I am also hoping to motivate you to write down your best bits of each month and use them as memories and to stay positive!! This blog post won’t be as long as my other posts so far and if you don’t enjoy these type of blog posts, don’t worry!! There will be an extra post tomorrow at 6 GMT so make sure you are following, so after all that rambling, lets just get straight into it!!
So, January is one of those months where almost everyone makes a set of “new year, new me” resolutions to change there lifestyle to an extent to kick there new year off with a bang (Keeping to these resolutions is another story ahaha) I am going to be laying this out in 3 different sub-headings: my top 3 best bits and 3 goals for February, and my monthly favorites at the end.
My Top 3 Moments of January-
- – Working hard for my exams in University-
So you may or may not know that I am a first year student studying Forensic Psychology and I have to do a few exams every semester, I was really nervous for these as I had no idea what to expect and I did a hell of a lot of revision, even through the Christmas holidays (It took a lot of motivation to do so ahaha) I’ve got nearly all of my results back now and I must say for my first try, I did fairly well!!
2. – Starting up my blog-
For a very long time now, I’ve been planning to start up my own blog, written so many ideas but never really had the confidence to do so and I thought as it was the new year I would give it ago, I am so happy I did!! I’m quite a shy individual but starting up this blog it allows me to think I finally have a voice!! I have so many plans and I am so excited for you all to see them!!
3.- Year Anniversary with my boyfriend-
I’ve only been in a few relationships in my 18 years of life and they didn’t really go too well but with my current boyfriend it was finally different and I was finally able to commit to someone which I previously found difficult!!!
My Top 3 Moments of January-
- Go gym more regularly-
As i’m at university, there is a gym on my campus (which I have a free year subscription too) I’ve only been a few times this month and I don’t want to regret the chance of being able to go for free!!! So this month I’d like to go on a schedule: Monday, Wednesday and Sunday evenings. This will probably be my new month goal till the end of the year so I apologize in advance ahaha.
2. Drink at least 8 cups of water daily-
Admittedly, I am so bad at drinking enough water, today, I think I’ve only had 2 glasses of water which I know is so bad for me!! Recently, I have noticed how much it affects my energy throughout the day and as I am at university, I need a lot of it!! So my goal for the next month is to get a little better and increase my intake of water each day so fingers crossed, I will.
3. Sell or donate any unwanted things in my room-
I am one of many who is guilty of hoarding things that aren’t particularly what I need, as Spring is fast approaching; I have the aim to get rid of anything that I don’t need anymore and make room for more clothing that is Spring/Summer.
My favorite items of January-
- Makeup Revolution Palette- Reloaded, Iconic Division-
This Eye shadow palette is my go to palette this month as I thought I’d be more adventurous because I usually stick to reds and browns so I decided to venture out and give this ago and as it was only £4, you can’t go wrong, this can be found in Superdrug, either online or in store.
2. Shampoo and conditioner Keratin Classic-
These two products combined have been so good to my hair!! I recently cut my hair and decided to try out some new products for my hair and this turned out to be a god send!! It leaves my hair feeling really silky and soft and as I have ginger hair, it leaves it looking more vibrant and shiny and best of all, it is only £1 (each)
3. Red bicker jacket from Primark-
I got this Red Biker jacket for Christmas and I’ve been wearing in nearly everyday since, It looks so good with anything I wear and Red is currently my favorite color, this would be perfect for the spring season because it keeps you warm enough without wearing a full on coat!! This Jacket was from Primark and was such a bargain!! only £25!!
