Hey Again!! I am so sorry that there wasn’t a blog post of Sunday!! I was going through some family problems at home and had literally no time to write a post and also forgot my laptop at uni (the stress!!) In today’s blog post I’m going to be showing you my skin care routine which I use on a daily basis- Morning and Evening to keep my skin clear and healthy looking!! (which is so important!!) I have written this blog in the way that I do my skin care routine so It’s kind of a tutorial. All of these products can either be brought in Superdrug or Wilkinson’s. My products aren’t the most expensive skincare products out there but they work for me, and as being a student, it saves me a few pounds ahaha. Lets just get straight into it!!!
- Simple Kind to skin Facial wash- £2.29
I use this facial wash every Morning and Evening to get rid of my makeup in the evening and to get rid of any left over makeup which I missed in the morning. It is perfect for any skin types and If you ever feel like you need a little extra moisture boost then this is perfect for doing just that, I have combination skin so this facial wash is perfect for getting rid of any dry patches on my face. You only need to use a small amount and then massage it gently into your skin which will get rid of any makeup, impurities and dirt. I got this product in a set of 3 in a Christmas box set but I will be definitely repurchasing when this runs out. I use this in the spring and summer time as it brightens up my skin and provides a healthy glow.
2. Garnier Micellar Water Sensitive Skin 400ml- £3.29
This is another product which I use Morning and Evening and is the perfect product for removing my makeup instead of using wipes. I have sensitive skin so this is perfect and doesn’t my skin red after using. It is perfect for cleansing and soothing the skin and there is no need for using water. (it’s great for lazy people like me!!) It is perfect for removing makeup on the face, eyes and lips and doesn’t irritate the eyes. I also use this in the morning to provide a smooth base for my makeup and gets rid of any other dirt which I may of missed from the night before.
3. Skin Therapy Sensitive Skin Cleanser 150ml £1-
At a great price of just £1 (what a bargain!!) this is a great cleanser for getting rid of any excess dirt and getting rid of the last trace of makeup. This is great to use before using any makeup because it cleanses the skin and leaves my face feeling soft and leaving a healthy glow. This is also perfect for sensitive skin and Wilkinson’s have a whole range of products perfect for sensitive skin and the products are soooo cheap!!!
4. Simple Kind To Skin Soothing Facial Toner 200ml £3.49-
This toner was another thing that was part of the simple gift set but I will be definitely be repurchasing. It smooths the skin and gets rid of any of the makeup that was left behind deep in the skin, it helps get rid of any spots that are still visible and radiates the skin leaving it having a healthy glow. It prepares the skin for being moisturized and I use this both Morning and Evening which helps to clarify and refresh the skin.
Moisturizer simple kind to skin, Hydrating Moisturizer £2.89–
The last thing I use as part of my skin care routine is the simple kind to skin, Hydrating Moisturizer, this is a sample size which I got in a gift box for Christmas!! I use this as it creates a smooth base for the makeup and also makes the skin look hydrated and healthy (what more can you ask for?!?) Joking aside, It is very important to use moisturizer because it allows the skin to stay hydrated and if moisturizer isn’t used on a daily basis it can develop wrinkles and aging in the skin compared to others who actually use it daily. (sorry to scare you ahaha) In the summer I will change to using a moisturizer with SPF 25 just to keep my skin looking healthy and protected..
