Full face of Makeup Revolution makeup; is it worth the hype??

Hey again!! I hope your all doing well!! Sorry this is abit late, it deleted itself and I only just worked out how to get it back ahaha. Today i’m back with another makeup post and It’s all about Makeup Revolution. If you don’t know by now, Makeup Revolution is one of my favourite makeup brands and I feel like I literally own half the brand ahaha. I brought all this makeup with my own money and I’ve been collecting it for a while!! I know its not the most expensive drugstore brand on the market but I feel makeup revolution is better than some high end brands!! This is going to be a tutorial type thing and I hope this is helpful to anyone thinking of buying anything from this brand, however, I don’t have an eyeliner or mascara so I won’t include that in this blog post, sorry!!! I have also linked all the products so if you want to go buy them, then you can, lets just get straight into it!! Enjoy Lovelies…

Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer

So, the first thing that I go in with is the Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define concealer, I’ve talked about this a lot on my blog and it is amazing!! I’ve already gone through 2 of these and that doesn’t even bother me because they are only ¬£4!!!¬†which is insane for how good the product actually is. As you may of seen on my other blog posts, I’m not really into using Foundation because I feel it makes my face look cakey and I like my freckles to show through. I place this concealer on my spots and imperfections and anywhere that i’d like a bit of coverage, this is perfect for doing just that!!! I would really recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable concealer!!!

Makeup Revolution pressed powder Translucent- £2

I then went in with my trusty old powder which I have used in all of my blog posts because it is just that amazing! I use this all over my face because it is perfect for my combination skin because it matifies my face but it doesn’t create any dry patches upon my face which is always a bonus!! I finally got on to using my new one because if you’ve seen this in my other blog posts, it was a bit broken ahaha!! This is so amazing on top of the concealer because it brings the whole base makeup together and doesn’t make it look like i’ve just used concealer because it gives just a little bit of coverage and the best part, its only ¬£2!!! I would really recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable powder which gives you a tiny bit of coverage also.

Makeup revolution Duo face sculpt¬†¬£3 –¬†

I got this in a gift set a while back and it is sold separately and I have linked it!! I haven’t got round to trying this out yet so I thought I would now, so I placed this on my cheek bones and around my forehead to give me a little bit of dimension because I have a very round face ahaha, I also placed a very small amount on my jaw line just so my face doesn’t look orange. For a first impression I think this is was pretty good!! It is perfect for pale skin and it isn’t too orange and doesn’t look like dirt on the face.

Makeup Revolution platinum Ingot Highlighter £4-

I love highlighters soo much and this one is literally amazing. I have such pale skin and almost every highlighter shade stands out on my face but this one, no, it doesn’t do this!! It is the perfect white shade that doesn’t look to bright on my skin and you don’t need to put a lot onto your brush because it is soooo pigmented and it was literally only ¬£4, so if you are looking for a really good highlighter for such a small price, then I would really recommend you buying this, there are two other shades too which are perfect for deeper skin tones and they are so beautiful!!

Makeup Revolution Brow kit £2.50

So, to do my eyebrows, I then went in with this brow kit which was only ¬£2.50, can you believe it??? I went in with the dark brown shade to outline my brows and make the arch which is the perfect colour and it makes my brows look much more natural than other brow products I’ve used. I then went in with the second shade on the top row to fill in my brows in the front and to cover any gaps in my brows!! I can’t believe how good this product is for the price and I would soooo recommend this!!

Makeup revolution Love Conquers all palette-

I got this palette in a deal at Superdrug where you spend ¬£12 and get this free so i’m not entirely sure if this is still being sold buttttt I haven’t used this yet so I thought I would do a first impressions to any of you that were wondering if this was any good!! I did a very basic eye look because there isn’t really much of a shade range. the first colour that I went in with was the pale pink to kind of use this as a transition colour and then I went in with the dark red colour underneath this and put that through my crease and on my lower lash line. I then took the colour in the middle, I think its meant to be a highlighter but I just used it is as an eye shadow and placed this all over my lid.

As I said before, I don’t have a makeup revolution eyeliner or a mascara, i’m sooo sorry so I just used my normal eyeliner and mascara and skipped straight in with the lipstick ūüôā

Makeup Revolution Red Lipstick £1-

So, to finish off the makeup look, I went in with this Red lipstick which came in a gift set so it doesn’t have a name but I do know there is a whole range of them and their only ¬£1 like what a bargain!! They are so creamy and they don’t dry down matte so it doesn’t feel irritating on the lips!! This lipstick is also soooo pigmented and for a red, that’s soo good. They also last almost all day with some top ups but whats the problem when you’ve only paid ¬£1 ahaha. I would really recommend trying this range of lipsticks.

And that is the finished look, I would really recommend Makeup Revolution to anyone!!
