Spring University Morning Routine🌼

Hey everyone, I hope your all doing well x

So spring is fast approaching (I say this but snow is currently on the floor ahaha) so today l’m back with another blog post but this is going to be a Spring Morning Routine while at university, some of you may know that I’m in my first year of university and if you’d like to see my first year room tour, get this post to 20 likes then I will!! I did this on a morning where I had an 11:00 am lecture which only lasted 1 hour but I still had to get ready ahaha.

Now let’s get straight into it, I hope you enjoy Lovelies!! ✨


8am-

So, the first thing that I do in the morning is obviously wake up, I set my alarm for 8, this is only because I’m trying to be more of a morning person and it makes me feel a lot more productive than if I woke up at 10 just to get ready. My top tip for being a morning person is to go to sleep at the same time every night and to get up at the same time every day, another thing I will do is get up as soon as possible, just so I don’t “accidentally” fall back to sleep ahaha.

The first thing I love to do when I get out of bed is to open my curtains because it makes me feel a lot more awake and open my window the tinniest bit just to get a bit of fresh air because that always feels so nice in the morning!! I love how bright and awake this makes my room look and it makes me happier!!

The next thing that I will do is make my bed, I always like to do this as soon as possible because I won’t do it otherwise and it just makes my room look a lot cleaner, plus it also stops me getting back into bed because who really wants to make there bed once let alone twice ahaha. I don’t really like to go on my phone as soon as I wake up because I feel like it blocks my brain and I’d rather be doing something a lot more productive, like reading for example, which I will normally do when I don’t have any lectures, so I won’t this morning!!

I will then go into my kitchen and get a glass of water and my breakfast (which is usually some cereal or some whole meal toast) because I’m trying so hard to drink a lot more water because I’m one of those people that can go all day without drinking any water but feeling so dehydrated and I can really see a difference when I’ve drank water, it makes me feel so awake and also helps with my skin toooo. At this point I’ll probably sit at my desk and drink my water and eat my breakfast just because this sets me up to being productive once I’ve finished, I will then quickly wash up because dishes pile up so fast!!! (On this day I had all day breakfast out my local uni restaurant, that is why this image is included)

9am-

Every morning I like to plan my day and if there is anything I need to do on that day, I will use my academic diary and I like to at least tick off 5 things on this list!! I feel as if this is a perfect way to clear your mind and to reduce stress throughout the day because you know exactly what you need to do and it’s planned out right in front of you, I would really recommend doing this if you feel stressed or overwhelmed with thoughts throughout the day!!

Then I will do on my phone and check all my social media’s before I start to get ready!


10am-

I will then go in and do my makeup and my hair, If your interested, I will do a get ready with me soon explaining how I do both my hair and makeup daily, just let me know in the comments!! I won’t do anything that heavy for my makeup as I only have an hour of lectures so I’m not really bothered what I look like, I then curled my hair which I do on a daily basis as I feel this suits my face best!!

I will then put my clothes on for that day and use my Perfume and sort my bag out: putting my notebook and pencil case in my bag ready for my lecture!! And then I will leave!!

After my lecture, I will normally come back and do some work or work on some blogs as I have all day to do that and then I will have some dinner when I start to get hungry!!
