My Everyday Makeup Routine🌻

Hey again, I hope your all doing well x

Today I am back with my everyday makeup routine, by no means do I wear this amount of makeup everyday nor do I wear makeup everyday either. I will wear this makeup almost everyday for university and on the weekends but the amount I use varies so maybe one day I won’t wear concealer I’ll just use powder and stuff like that. All of this makeup was brought with my own money. I love to wear makeup but I like to give my face some air every once in a while and let my natural face shine through because no one needs makeup to look pretty. Please could you leave any suggestions for any blog posts you would like to see in the comments as I’m trying to make more blog posts that you would actually like to see, and if you haven’t already, follow my blog and check out my recent blog posts!!

With all that out the way, let’s get into the makeup, enjoy lovelies x

Before applying makeup, I make sure to apply some face Moisturizer and some SPF 20 just to stop my face from looking dry and keeping my face protected.

The first thing I do is my base makeup; so, concealer, powder, bronzer and highlighter. Recently I’ve been using my Collection lasting perfection in shade 1 on my blemishes and under my eyes and any red patches on my face, this concealer is really pigmented for the price and you only need a tiny amount to cover up what you need to. I either blend in my concealer with a small flat top brush or when I’m in a rush, I just use my fingers because it is super quick and easy.

After I’ve blended all of this in, I will go in and use my Makeup Revolution pressed powder using the sponge that it comes with and gently apply this to my face, once I have done that, I will use a blending brush and wipe around my face to make sure that is all blended it and there are no dry patches on my skin. I will then take my collection contour and highlight kit and use that contour shade and place it on my cheek bones and my forehead just so I can create that dimension and make my forehead look smaller hahaha and to give me a bit of colour because I’m very pale. I will do this using a contour brush. Finally for my base, highlighter (the best part), I will apply this to the top of my cheek bones and along my nose and Cupid’s bow which is what I normally do.

Next, my eyebrows and eyes. I will use my Freedom pomade and Freedom duo powder both in shade dark brown to fill in my eyebrows, using these as a combo creates the perfect eyebrow shape and makes my eyebrows look really natural. I normally take the Freedom pomade and trace an outline for my eyebrows and create the perfect arch and lightly shade them in. I will then take the Freedom Duo Powder to fill in the rest of my eyebrows to create a more natural look because the pomade can look a bit harsh on the face and look un natural.

Next I will go in with my eyeshadow, the part that changes occasionally and never really stays the same but I will just tell you how I do my eyeshadow on almost an everyday basis. The eyeshadow palette which I use almost all the time is the Makeup Revolution Flawless 4, this is probably my favourite eyeshadow palette which has been brought out by them, and it is so affordable, it was only £8. Apologise that I can’t tell you the colours that I am using because I brought this a while back so I’ve lost the name slip but I will try my best to describe them. So, using a blending brush, I will firstly go in with a transition shade and place that all over my lid, next I will take an even darker transition shade and only focus on placing this in my crease, then I will go in with the red shade and pack this into my crease to build the colour up and then I place the shimmery red shade and place this into my crease also, lastly, I will place the white shimmery shade all over my lid primarily focusing this on the middle of my eyes to create a gradient type look. Then I will apply my Essence eyeliner to create a wing and place some on my bottom lash line and then I will take my Primark mascara and put this on my top and bottom lashes. And now that’s it for the eye makeup, then I will go in with doing my lips.

The colour that I decide to use varies on the type of day I’m having and which colour I want to go for. I have a mixture of nudes, reds and purples in my makeup collection but on a day at university I will most normally wear my MUA liquid lipstick in shade Tranquilty. On other days, so the weekend or my days off, I like to venture out with my lipsticks a fair but and decide to wear a dark/bright red or a dark purple, just to mix it up a bit. In this instance, I decided to go for the nude lip as it best suited the vibe I was going for, and that is the makeup look complete!
