How to become a #GIRLBOSS using 7 easy tips

Hey everyone, welcome to my blog and I hope your all doing well x

Today I am back with a topic which I feel very passionate about and it’s all about how to be a #girlboss. I have read the book #girlboss and how to be a badass about 100 times and I am always left inspired. #girlboss is probably the most used hashday nowadays but it takes a lot to actually become one. I am all for being productive and working hard for what you want, which is why I have my blog, I like having a voice about things that I am passionate about. This is no means meant to be feminist and all for women because it’s not, if I have any male readers, if you have a dream, go for it and work hard for it because it isn’t as simple as being handed down to you. This is not primarily focused around blogging as a whole it’s simply just how to be a #girlboss in any situation.

Simularily to Sophia, I have an eBay account where I sell some of my old clothes and makeup to get some money and it really does work, you’ve just got to work for it. When it comes to my blog, I have so many goals and aspirations, one day I want to become self-employed and want to work with different brands on my blog and having loyal followers that find happiness from my blog, that’s what I’m working towards! I’m sorry that this was a very very long introduction but lets get straight into the post, I hope you enjoy and if you do, make sure to like this post and follow my blog for more, I follow back!!

Writing your goals somewhere that you can visually see whenever is a great way to keep you motivated and to keep you on the right track. Personally, I wrote down all my goals on a piece of A4 paper and then stuck it to my pinboard right next to my desk where I will normally sit down and write my blogs. This creates a great platform for me to stay motivated because I can see all my goals right in front of me and know what I am working towards.

It is always important to be devoted to what you do and know exactly how your going to do it. Plan your blog posts or whatever you want to have a successful business in, planning is the best way in ensuring something is the best to its ability. Find what you love, I personally love writing about beauty and lifestyle and that is what you should do, my blog is a beauty and lifestyle blog with a variety of different posts, don’t restrict yourself.

I must admit, since starting my blog, I have fell of track a bit with my uploads. You should have a schedule and stick to it. If your a blogger, you can schedule some posts on weeks you know you’re fairly busy, it helps followers to trust you and they can check back when they know you have uploaded.

This one may sound very straight forward but it is always important to keep a diary or even plan ahead. This can help you to see how much free time you have and what you have to do in the week. I’m at university and sometimes I have to prioritise my work over blogs so I make sure that I write everything down in a diary so I can find time to create a blog post if one isn’t scheduled.

There are so many great bloggers and influencers out there who have a huge followers total and we all think if we make blog posts simular, we will get the same but that’s wrong. Don’t write blog posts based of someone else, you will get loyal followers from the blog posts that you enjoy writing and will put way more effort into. Only use these bloggers and influencers as inspiration, you may be stuck on inspiration on what to write which is fine, we all get that but please don’t copy someone else!!

I am probably the LAST person who is willing to do something out of my comfort zone, it’s just something I’m not used to. It is important to push your limits because as I said before, your not going to get what you want passed to you. You need to fight for it and if thats coming out of your comfort zone, so be it. It may be scary at first but you may enjoy it. When I first started my blog I was so scared that no one was going to enjoy my blog posts etc but then I decided to come out of my comfort zone and thought that I am going to make my blog for me and look where I am now, I am loving it!

I am guilty of wanting to give up on things that I find to difficult and one of those was my blog, also university. When I first started at university I wanted to give up and go back home within the first week and look where I am now, I am nearly finished with my first year and I couldn’t be more happier. University has changed me a lot and I think university has got to be the best decision i’ve ever made. Also, in the first month of creating my blog, I didn’t receive much followers or views and didn’t think I ever would but I am so happy I stuck with it because now I am on 60 followers and I know that doesn’t sound like much but it’s not all about the followers, I just enjoy talking about what I love!!

“No matter where you are in life, you’ll save a lot of time by not worrying too much about what other people think about you. The earlier in your life that you can learn that, the easier the rest of it will be.”
