Hey everyone, happy Monday! Welcome to my blog and I hope your all doing well x
Today I am back with another makeup look and this is how I go from 0-100, I am completely fine with how my face looks without makeup but this is how I go from zero makeup to a full face of makeup, which is the makeup I wear on a night out or on a special occasion, just in case you were wondering if I wear this much makeup daily, no I don’t, I think it would really irritate me if I did ahaha. This type of makeup normally takes me around half an hour up to forty five minutes so a lot longer compared to my everyday makeup. On this occasion, I was going out to the club on my campus and it was really fun but of course I had a very bad hangover in the morning but it was all worth it. In advance, I just want to let you know that there may be a lack of blog posts for the next two weeks as I have exams but I am going to try my very best to get them up for you, I am going to spend all my free time writing them, I really hope you enjoy this blog post, if you do, make sure to like this post and follow my blog post for more!
Before applying any makeup, I will make sure to moisturise my face making it easier to blend the rest of my makeup on also to keep my face hydrated and looking healthy, to do this I use my Therapy Skin moisturiser leaving my skin feel soft and hydrated and that’s all I needed when going out as I get very dehydrated quickly. After this I will go in with is my Makeup Revolution foundation and place a light layer on to my face creating a medium coverage, I will then go in with the Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer on my blemishes and under my eyes and any red patches on my face, I either blend in my concealer with a small flat top brush or when I’m in a rush, I just use my fingers because it is super quick and easy. After I’ve blended all of this in, I will go in and use my Collection Powder and gently apply this to my face, once I have done that, I will use a blending brush and wipe around my face to make sure that is all blended it and there are no dry patches on my skin. I will then take my ProFusion Contour and Highlighter kit and use that contour shade and place it on my cheek bones and my forehead just so I can create that dimension and to give me a bit of colour because I’m very pale. Finally for my base, highlighter, I used the Sleek Highlighting palette in shade Solstice. I applied this to the top of my cheek bones and along my nose and Cupid’s bow which is what I normally do. As this makeup look is kind of out there, I tend to make my face look more natural and then use the contour and highlight to define my face more, I love how good highlighter looks with bright makeup, I feel like it contrasts really well!!
I don’t really change the way that I do my eyebrows and I haven’t purchased any new eyebrow products so I filled in my brows using the Freedom Duo Powder in shade dark brown. For the eyes, I used my Soph x Makeup Revolution palette and went in with the red tones and used the light transition shade through my crease and then used the light red and run that through my crease again, I then went in with the glittery red shade and also run that through my crease. The next shade I went in with was the light white glittery shade and put that all over my lid and put it on my inner corner.
For my lips, I went in with a Sleek mini in red just to go with the eye look and when I’m going out, I like to wear a red lip because I don’t normally wear red but I love to and what is the perfect time than going out.
For my hair and outfit, I curled my hair like I normally do but I did spend more time curling it so there were tighter curls and would last longer as dancing will take my curls out really fast. For my outfit, I wore a black lace dress that I got from Primark for Christmas, it is backless and I am in love with wearing it and it makes me feel so much more confident. This is how I got ready for this night out, I hope you enjoyed it!!!
