Summer Morning Routine

Hey everyone, I hope you’re all doing well and having a lovely week. Today I am back with a new blog post and I am going to be talking you through what I get up to in the mornings. I do have one of these already on my blog Morning Routine but this was what I did on the morning I have university and now that I have finished University for the year I thought I would update you on what I do on a summer morning. On an average day I will wake up at around 9:30/10:00, I always feel so lazy if i wake up any later because I feel like the morning is over if I wake up any later. The first thing I do is open up the curtains to let some light in and then I will grab my bottle of water and drink some water to hydrate myself. I always wake up really dehydrated so I need a lot of water.

On a good day, which is not most, I will go to the gym first thing so I can get it out of the way and this really helps to boost your metabolism throughout the day and this really helps to wake me up and energised for the rest of the day. I tend to stay at the gym for around an hour dependant on the workout I’m doing, if you want to see my workout routine, this will be uploaded on Friday so keep an eye out for that. When I get back from the gym, I am usually dying so I will quickly jump in the shower to freshen up.

When I get out of the shower, I put my clothes on for the day and dry my hair and then I will go into the kitchen and make some breakfast. On this specific day I just had some wholemeal toast with a glass of orange juice. When I get back into my room I will make my bed because I always forget and it makes my room look so much messier than it actually is so I will make that and then I will sit back on bed and write a blog post, I always get my inspiration in the mornings so I will always try to at least start a blog post or plan some because I’ve had a lot of motivation recently so I like to maintain that. I will usually spend around 45 minutes doing this dependent how long of a blog post I am writing and then I will catch up on some YouTube videos.

On the day I was writing this, I had quite a busy day and had to go to into town to get a few things so I will spend around 15 minutes doing my makeup and then I will curl my hair. I’ve been liking wearing less makeup recently and curling my hair and making an effort with my hair, I feel as if it looks way more natural and good on an everyday basis. I will then go out of the door and get on with the rest of the day. And that is the end of my morning routine. Is there anything different you do on a morning? I’d be interested to know.
