Hey everyone, I hope you’re all doing well and welcome back to my blog. Today I am back with a very exciting post and its testing the new Revolution Soph x Extra Spice palette. If you haven’t seen already, I have tested the first Soph x palette so if you’d like to see that then look back on some of my old blog posts. I was very excited to test out this palette because the colours are right up my street and I love every shade. I didn’t get any of the lipsticks to test out just because I have so many lipsticks in similar shades but they look really good also. I hope you enjoy this post, if you do, make sure to like and comment on this post and follow my blog for more.
Firstly, I am going to show you the packaging and the shades firstly, its such a beautiful palette and comes in such nice packaging.
The outer packaging to the palette is really nice, its a golden orange colour and the name is in a nude colour which looks really nice, I like how on the packaging of the Revolution palettes on the back they show a picture of all the different shades which I think makes a great touch to the packaging and gives a good insight into what the shades will be like which is ideal when your in a shop so you don’t have to open up the packaging. When you take the palette out of the packaging the top of the palette is a rose gold shade which looks really pretty and I feel it makes the palette look more expensive than it is. This palette was only £10 which was a bargain and I think all the lipsticks are all £4 each. The lettering is in a nude shade similar to her first palette, one thing I really like about this palette is that the names of the shades are underneath the colours which I think is a nice alternative to the slip of paper that used to come with the Revolution palettes because I’ve lost every single one of them ahaha. From looking at the shades straight away, my two favourites would have to be TWENTY ONE and VITAMIN C, they just look like such different colours and I love experimenting with my eye shadow and I feel you can create a lot of great looks using this palette which is perfect for summer.
Every shade in the palette is really pigmented and there is a great variety of shades in here. The black shade is so pigmented, with some palettes, the black shades always seem to let you down but this one really didn’t, its so pigmented and dark and it isn’t patchy at all. The shimmer shades are amazing and very pigmented along with the matte ones. I don’t think there’s any shade in this palette that isn’t pigmented. I definitely think its worth the price of £10 especially for 18 shades. which works out as 50p per shade which I think you will agree, is amazing.
