A Pamper Routine for Warm Weather

Hey everyone, I hope your all doing well and welcome to my blog. Today I am back with something I love to talk about, pampering yourself, who doesn’t love a good pamper, pampering yourself seems like a lot of hastle in the summer especially when you come in super sweaty, I’m guilty of just using a face wipe to get rid of all my makeup and that be the end of it but sometimes I really feel like I need a good pampering to have a relax after a hard day. The first thing I will do is start running myself a bath, normally I will use a bath bomb, more likely from Lush, my favourite bath bomb is “sex bomb” its so lovely scented and they always linger on the skin for a while. I will then use a face wipe just to take off all my makeup so then I can put a face mask on, the one I use is the L’oreal brightening mask, I really like this mask because it really smooths my skin and also helps to brighten up my face. I will also use a hair mask in the shower because my hair has become very dry in this heat so it needs as much nourishment as possible. Once I get out of the bath, I will get into my comfy pj’s and have a relax while binge watching Netflix. I’ve been watching a lot of films recently and one of my favourites has got to be “the kissing booth”, this is an amazing film if you want to feel warm hearted, it is a romantic film but I really enjoyed it and there has been a lot of reviews on twitter which is where I got the recommendation from.

Next I will do my full skincare routine, the first thing I will use is my miceller water just to get rid of any left over makeup off my skin. I will then use my face cleansing milk to make my skin feel soft and cleansed and then I will go in and use my skin toner, I love this product because it always makes my skin feel so much cleaner and softer. I will then go in with my moisturiser and place that all over my face and neck, I will also then put on some overnight spot cream on any blemishes I may have, I’ve been really good at trying to keep my face clear, it always makes me feel so much more confident. I will then go in and use my skin moisturiser and rub that all over my body, if I’m planning on going out the next day, I will fake tan, I’ve only just got in to tanning because I’ve felt really pale. The wash off one is so good because it only lasts a day so there’s no worrying of it going patchy.

At this time I will probably be hungry and as I am doing my pamper routine, I will tend to eat a bit healthier, in this case, I decided to make some chicken and veg and put it into a giant Yorkshire pudding topped with gravy. I will normally sit on my phone while eating. Once I’ve eaten, I like to take around an hour without using any electronics, especially my phone and take my time doing something else. I will either read a book or I will do some exercise. Exercising always makes me feel so much calmer and stress free, exercising has probably been the best decision I’ve made and its made me feel so much fitter. If your ever feeling stressed or anxious, I would recommend doing some exercise or either do some meditation.

After the hour, I will then go up to bed and plan and write out some blog posts. I’ve been trying so hard to write really good blog posts at the moment and as my birthday is coming up soon, I’ve been trying to plan ahead with them. After that I will probably just spend the night relaxing and watching Netflix, let me know in the comments what you do on your pamper routine.

  1. Love your routine! Mine is quite similar actually. I love taking a cool shower, put on a facemask and body lotion. I totally agree about spending some time offline and doing some gentle exercises. It helps to clear my mind and relax.
