My Goals For Being 19

Hey everyone, I hope you’re all doing well and welcome to my blog. Today I am back with another birthday related blog post and today I am going to be telling you my top 5 goals for being 19. I turn 19 tomorrow so I thought I would put together my top 5 goals for the upcoming year. I’ve had some of these goals for a while but I’ve never accomplished them and my aim is to be able to do them this year. Develop myself mentally and physically

One of my main goals of this year is to develop myself mentally and physically, what I mean by this is that I want to develop my self-esteem and aim to love myself and put myself first. I’ve always had a really bad self esteem but has risen since last year and I really want to aim to grow that and become more resilient to other people’s opinions because they don’t matter. I also want to learn how to deal with my Anxiety better and not let it stop me from doing certain things. As in physically, I want to keep up going to the gym and eating healthier because it has made me feel so much healthier and gives me so much more energy, going to the gym has become my happy place and I want to maintain that and also push myself and start doing some classes.

Get my first tattoo

I’ve wanted to get a tattoo for the longest time but I’ve never had ID or the confidence to get one. I’ve been spending years looking for the perfect tattoo and now I’ve finally found one. I really want to be able to push myself and get my tattoo because the longer I leave it, the longer I’ll regret it and over think it. I’ve always loved the look of tattoos and I know some people don’t like them but I see them as another form of showing your personality and they can also paint a story of another which I find rather beautiful. My aim is to either get one in August or when I get back to university, I’d absolutely love to get one while I go abroad but I don’t know if I fully trust them.

Travel as much as possible

If you’ve read any of my most recent blog posts, you would know that I’ve recently got my passport and my ultimate dream is the see the world and I truly believe that I’ll find myself and leave a bit of my self in each country. I’ve already book to go to Rome for 5 days in September which is on my travel bucket list, If you haven’t already seen that, go over to my blog and it should be there. I’m already planning to go to Berlin in January too so hopefully it will be an exciting year. I also want to do things I’ve never done before like water sports etc because I really want to try new things and I feel it would really help me deal with my anxiety a lot better.

Build up my blog to be the best it can be

So recently, I’ve been trying so hard with my blog but I have also been lacking motivation on what blog posts to write. I really want to start planning out my blog posts and putting out the best content I possibly can because blogging has become my favourite hobby and I want to try my best with it. I also want to start interacting with you all because when I started blogging, I really wanted to meet new people and do what I love and that’s what I intend to do, I also want to make some blogging friends because I feel it would make my blog so much better. I also want to reach out to more companies on partnerships because I feel it would help with my blog so much.

Work harder at university and not let my grades define me

My first year of university was very weird and even though I tried really hard, I wasn’t getting the grades I was expecting to get and that really got me down but now, it has really motivated me to try harder and use more strategies to revising and to learn a different way of writing. I’m also not going to let my grades define me and I’m not going to let them get me down, I’m really motivated to start year 2 of university and to learn new things. One of my main aims is to plan out everything I’m writing and to spend a lot of time doing assignments and preparing for exams, I’m not saying I’m going to spend 2 hours every night revising or doing work but whenever I have free time, I am going to schedule some time to do some work because I know it would really help. That’s the end to my 5 goals of being 19, I’m really excited for this next chapter and year and I really hope I can achieve all of them, let me know down below what one of your goals is, I would be really intreaged to know, my next post is tomorrow, on my birthday, I hope you enjoyed, until next time x
