My Autumn Bucket List, just so I don’t spend the season watching Halloween films

I’m putting together an Autumn Bucket List because I know if I don’t I’ll either spend the season procrastinating or spending the season watching the nightmare before Christmas which I’m not going to lie, I would gladly do. Autumn is definitely my favourite season so putting together this Bucket List was fairly easy, this includes some Halloween related bits, boring life bits and some thing’s I want to achieve before Winter and Christmas come around.

So the first thing on my bucket list is,

Go to the gym at least 5 times a week and put together a workout schedule

This is something I’ve wanted to do for a while but I’ve finally realised it may be beneficial in continuing my progression. I’m going to try to go to the gym at least 5 times a week, this will be helpful as I’ve only been going the days I’ve felt like I can be bothered to do so I’m only going maybe 3 – 4 times each week but I want to push myself to go 5 times every week. I want to put together a schedule to make this easier and to become a routine for me to follow and it will just become normal. I’m planning on going to the gym Tuesday – Saturday as I have a super busy day in university on Monday and I want to give myself Sunday to have a break and maybe a cheat day because eating healthy can become quite boring so having a cheeky pizza every once in a while won’t harm you.

Continuing on from this, I want to put together a workout schedule for places I’m going to work on, on a specific day because recently I’ve just been going to the gym and doing things I want to do but that’s normally abs and cardio and that isn’t going to work on my arms is it so I want to associate each day with a different workout and a different focus, just so I make sure I work on everything throughout the week.

Go pumpkin picking/go to garden centre’s

Something that I have on my bucket list every Autumn is going pumpkin picking, this is something I’ve always wanted to do but never been able to, either I live to far from a pumpkin patch or I realise to late into October and they’re all gone. This is such an Autumn/Halloween thing which I feel is so Autumnal and would put me right in the Halloween feels.

Learn to love myself and accept my body for what it is

Body confidence is definitely something I’ve been trying to work on all year and it hasn’t seemed to improve much, the only thing that has improved it slightly is my progress in losing weight. Accepting yourself is something I will shout from the rooftops that everyone should do and self-care is also important, I’ve written several posts on loving yourself so head over to my blog if you want to have a read. I want to take more time out to do things I love, like having a pamper evening every once in a while, go to the gym, have a solo movie night etc, loving someone else is easy but loving yourself is the hardest challenge of all, but once you do, you can conquer the world.

Actually decorate for Autumn/Halloween

This is something I want to do every year but I completely forget to do so and that is decorate for Autumn/Halloween. I’d love to get some Autumn leave bunting or ‘happy Halloween’ but I never get round to doing so. I also carve my pumpkin way to late into the year and I only have the decorations up for 2 days which is pretty pointless and a waste of money so this year I want to get some decorations early so I can enjoy the buildup to Halloween.

Get my Christmas shopping semi done

Only recently have I had to start purchasing Christmas presents but I’ve soon come to realise that you have to snatch everything early in time before everyone else wants it. I left all my Christmas shopping till late November last year and that was definitely a bad idea, so my aim this year is to get some started throughout October so I can have some presents ready so I’m not in a bad rush in November.

Try for my Autumn Fashion

If you’ve seen some of my latest posts, I’ve shown you some of the Autumn Fashion bits I’ve recently picked up and I really want to try with my Autumn Fashion this year, I don’t want to just throw on some jeans and a jumper which does sound really comfy but I want to try with my outfits and makeup because it’s definitely my favourite time of the year and I don’t want to take it for granted like I do each year. I want to do this for myself so I can hopefully boost my self esteem and to boost my body confidence once and for all.

These are all my goals for this Autumn, do you have any? Let me know in the comments because I’d love to know. thank you so much for reading and I look forward to seeing you for a new post on Wednesday at 12 x

  1. Your body will be your home for the rest of your life, the only home that’s guaranteed. You don’t want to look back when you’re 80 years old and realize you’ve spent a lifetime hating it. You’ll probably be wishing you have the body you have now, strong, healthy, soft plump skin. Taking care of ourselves physically is great and so is loving ourselves 🙂

  2. Came across this post on twitter and clicked because I think your outfit in the photos are so cute! And you do look great plus exercising regularly means you are taking care of your body so I hope you get to the point where you love your body 🙂

  3. Great post 🙂 I haven’t even thought about Christmas shopping yet! These are some great goals, although don’t put pressure on yourself to go to the gym 5 days a week! Sometimes other things get in the way. I have followed your blog and look forward to reading more of your posts!

  4. This is lovely! I hope you achieve everything on your bucket list this Autumn! I have always been a huge fan of summer, but this year Autumn has really touched me and I found a new love for it! I hope to try some of these things myself this Autumn!

  5. This is a great list. I’ve done a little bit of Christmas shopping so far but don’t usually get stuck in until November. I really need to get my butt back to my exercise classes – I realised recently it’s been a year since I exercised regulary. 😓 I hope you get to go to a pumpkin patch, it was on my list last year but I didn’t get round to it.
