Pumpkin Carving competition featuring my boyfriend

Happy Halloween guys, in celebration of my favourite day of the year excluding Christmas, I thought I would put together a short post to celebrate and to have a little fun at Halloween. I went against my boyfriend to try to produce the best pumpkin, obviously I knew I was going to win but I thought I’d give him a slight chance. Before getting into this post I would just like to say to have fun this Halloween, I’d love for you all the comment what you’re going to be dressing up as for Halloween because I’d honestly love to know and if you don’t celebrate Halloween, that’s okay, have a lovely day and evening anyway also on a more serious note, please remember to stay safe no matter what you’re doing!!

So, let’s start with a funny story, getting these home from Sainsburys was an actual killer, we live a 15 minute walk from Sainsburys and I think we both over anticipated how easy it would be to get them home especially with the size of them, it definitely felt like an arm workout.

When it came to thinking of a design, I immediately thought of Jack Skellington from the nightmare before Christmas as it’s definitely one of my favourite films, I didn’t know which theme my boyfriend was going to go down but coincidently, we both went down a Disney theme which was super cute.

The worst part about carving a pumpkin is definitely the first part and getting everything out, it takes so much time and is definitely very messy. Here’s the images of the process of both mine and my boyfriends, in the comments, please choose your favourite pumpkin, of course it’s mine but please let me know so we can find a winner.
