Best places to go this Christmas season in the UK|Blogmas Day 2

Good morning, welcome to Blogmas day two, if you haven’t already seen yesterday’s post commencing Blogmas, then I’d definitely recommend checking it out once you’ve had a read of this one. For today’s post, if you can’t already tell by the title, I’m going to be telling you 4 places you need to visit this Christmas season, these are all based in the UK but if you have any idea’s on where to go in a different part of the world, please let me know in the comments so others can have a read of those, let’s get straight into the post, I really hope you enjoy.

  1. Hyde Park Winter wonderland London

This is definitely the place to go to get into the Christmas spirit and get all festive. I visited winter wonderland yesterday at the time your reading this and I’m honestly so excited to go, there is definitely going to be a separate post about my experience. There is so much to enjoy and is definitely suitable for all ages. I know this opened to the public on the 22nd November and run until the 6th January so there is so much time to enjoy the festivities. There is an ice rink which is definitely something I’m going to get up to while I’m here and there’s also ice sculpting workshops and the best part of all, you can visit Santa at his grotto so is definitely appropriate for all ages and theirs definitely enough to do. It’s open from 10AM till 10PM so if your anything like me, you could make a whole day out of it and could also have a nosy around London and do some Christmas shopping.

2. German Market either Birmingham or Manchester

The Christmas season wouldn’t be the same if you didn’t visit a German market. these are one of my favourite things to do at Christmas and there is so much to do while your there. There is also an ice rink meaning you could do a bit of outdoor ice skating making it feel really Christmasy. You can also get a feel for how Germany host their Christmas which may be temping to go and see the real deal in Germany itself. This is definitely all ages appropriate and you can definitely make a day out of it. As I know, both Birmingham and Manchester host one of these each year so no matter where you live in the UK, they are easily accessible.

3. Westfield London

I’ve added this to this list as this is definitely the place to get all the Christmas shopping done all in one place. There are so many shops in and around Westfield London making it super easy to find everything you have on your Christmas list. I’d recommend going super early in December as it may become quite hectic the sooner it comes to Christmas. Westfield is also open from 10AM until 10PM so you can get some late night Christmas shopping done easily.

4. Local Garden Centre

I don’t know about you but their’s nothing that shouts Christmas than going to your local garden centre and having a look round at their Christmas arrangements and having a look at their lights. This is something I will do every year without fail as it just puts me in a Christmas mood and makes me so much more excited. You could also visit the Range or B&Q if you don’t have many garden centre’s around you as my local The range is so good for their Christmas decorations and just having a nosy at their arrangements.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this post, let me know in the comment’s if you are going to do any of these this Christmas season and also let me know in the comments if you can think of anywhere else to go to get everyone into the Christmas spirit. I really hope you enjoyed Blogmas day 2 and I’ll see you tomorrow for day 3, until next time, Chlo

  1. London is always somewhere I’ve wanted to go at winter. It looks so dreamy.

I’ve only ever been to one Christmas market and that was Sheffield, wasn’t really that exciting 😩 Garden centres are better.

I’m off to Belgium in two weeks for the Christmas market there, I’ve heard great things! 🙂
