Hey everyone and welcome to blogmas day 6, if you haven’t already seen 1-5 of blogmas so far, go to my blog after reading this post and have a catch up, I’ve uploaded some pretty good posts so far.
As you can tell by the title, I’m going to be showing you my everyday makeup routine this Winter, this is going to filled with berry, orange and red shaded goodness and I’m all here for it. Worry you not, I will be uploading a Christmas themed makeup look further into Blogmas so if you wan’t to have a read of that, follow my blog so you don’t miss it. I will be linking all the product’s I’m using in this post at the end so if you want to shop any of the makeup then feel free. Anyhoo, let’s get into the Berry goodness of this makeup tutorial.
Foundation; Chloe wearing Foundation? who is she? If you’ve read any of my previous makeup tutorials you will know that I’m not a very big fan of foundation but now it’s winter I’ve been really enjoying wearing it at the moment. The one I’ve been using is the Rimmel Match Perfection in shade Light Porcelain. I used to be obsessed with this foundation a few year’s ago and I’m so excited to have it back in my everyday makeup routine. I apply this using a flat top brush as this makes the Foundation look flawless upon the skin.
Concealer; The concealer I’m using for this look is the Revolution Pro Full coverage Camouflage concealer in shade C1, bloody ell, that name is a mouthful. I’ve been really enjoying using this concealer at the moment and you only need the tiniest bit as it goes such a long way. I apply this using my fingers as this is just the easiest.
Powder; Back to an old favourite of mine that I’ve gone through many of these in the past, The Revolution pressed powder. Out of all the powder’s I’ve tried in the past, I feel like this one give’s me the most coverage and that’s definitely something I look for in a powder. I apply this all around my face to make it as matte as possible, I will use the applicator that comes with it.
Contour & Highlight; A personal favourite of mine is the Revolution contour and highlight palette, this is because it is so compact and so easy for travelling. In the winter I love to pack on the contour else I will look like Casper the ghost, I will also apply a small amount of highlighter to the top of my cheekbones.
Brows; A product I’ve been using on my brows for quite a while is the Revolution brow pomade in Medium Brown, I apply this to my brows using an angled brow brush.
Eye shadow; For this eye look, I’m going to be focusing on the red shade’s because nothing shouts winter, the palette I’m going to be using is the Revolution Iconic Fever palette which is my definite favourite at the moment. The first shade I’m using is the shade is the 4th on the top row which is a light orange shade which is perfect for a base shade, I ran this through my crease to start some dimension. The next shade I went in with was the one next to it which is a bit darker and I ran this through my crease also and on my lower lash line. The next shade I used was the red in the middle which is so pigmented and beautiful, I run this through my crease again and putting it more over my eyes. I do all this using a fluffy eye shadow brush.
Liner & Mascara; For eyeliner, I’m using the MUA felt liner and I’m going to be creating a cat eye look. For Mascara, I’m using the Elf lengthening and volumizing mascara which I’ve been loving at the moment, I’m applying this to both my top and lower lash’s.
Lips; To bring the whole look together, I’m going to be using my sleek matte me lipstick in shade Old Hollywood which is a perfect berry shade for Winter.
