Hey everyone and welcome back to Blogmas Day 11, it’s only 14 days until Christmas ahhh, I think I need to get started on the wrapping. I don’t know about you but I loooove wrapping presents but I definitely need to learn to not leave it to the last minute. Putting that aside, in today’s post, I am going to be sharing with you how to incorporate personalised gifts into the mix this Christmas, whether their for your; Mum, Dad, Brother/Sister or Boyfriend/Girlfriend, the list is endless.
Something that I love to incorporate into my presents for others are some personalised gifts, sometime’s it’s better to spend a bit of time on a personalised present instead of spending a lot of money on a present, this just gives a sense of love and makes it more special, in my opinion anyway.
Before giving anyone a personalised present I would always get brain block on what customised presents that I could give to someone, until I started making and putting together personalised gifts for my boyfriend. I feel like putting together a personalised gift for a boyfriend/girlfriend is so easy and the choices are endless but that’s where I was wrong. You can make any of the idea’s fit the person you are giving the gift to and that’s definitely something I love about customised presents.
Now, let’s get into the reason your probably here, some idea’s, so, I have thought of 3 different personalised gift idea’s that can fit anyone your giving the gift to, so let’s kick this off with a bang and start with a customised scrapbook.
- Customised scrapbook
A few years ago for my boyfriend’s birthday, I put together a small scrapbook of images that had been taken throughout the year and wrote some memories by some of the images- some of the photo’s were from the same day, moment so I would put the memory at the bottom of the page. This would definitely be the perfect gift idea for your boyfriend/girlfriend, maybe your parents, that would definitely make a super cute scrapbook, also, this is a really good idea in terms of friends, you could put together the scrapbook with all the memories with your friends, trust me, this will definitely be a present the person will remember and it is also something they can use to look back on which I find really nice. In terms of price, it doesn’t cost a lot at all, you could use a sketchbook from https://www.theworks.co.uk/c/art-supplies/art-paper/sketch-books. which are really inexpensive, you may also have to pay for the photos to be printed out but that doesn’t cost much at all.
2. Jar with reasons
When I say Jar with reasons, this could include; a jar of reasons to be happy, a jar of reasons to why you love the person, a jar of reasons their an amazing friend. like I said, you can make these gifts to whoever you want. I saw this idea when I was scrolling through Pinterest as I wanted to include some more idea’s for this post and I thought this was a really nice one. Something I did for my boyfriend last Christmas was make a list of reasons to why I love him and then I scrunched them up and put them into a clear jar, I also gave him the added instruction that he can’t read one unless he was unhappy, you could definitely do this if you were considering doing this. This present is super easy to do and is definitely not time consuming.
3. Getting something customised online
When I said personalised I didn’t mean we had to do them all ourselves. There are definitely some really nice customised presents that can be done right at our fingertips without creating it ourselves. Some idea’s are: a key ring, a mug, a phone case, a customised story book, the options are endless. There are so many sites out there that are amazing when it comes to personalised gifts such as https://www.gettingpersonal.co.uk/personalised-presents/personalised-gifts.htm &https://www.amazon.co.uk/ref=nav_logo, amazon is the place I get most of my customised gifts and they always come looking amazing.
They’re all 3 of the personalised gift ideas for this post, there are definitely so much more to choose from, let me know in the comments some of your suggestions for personalised gifts, I’d love to know, thank you so much for reading, I will be back tomorrow for a new blogmas post.
