Hey everyone, welcome to Blogmas Day 20! At the time your reading this it is actually mine and my boyfriends Christmas day which I’m really excited about, were exchanging presents and I’m going to attempt to make me and my boyfriend a Christmas dinner. As promised in my Winter morning routine, I’m going to be talking you through what I get up to in an evening throughout winter.
My evening normally starts when I get back from doing something or going out for the day, this will normally be around 6 PM. The first thing I like to do is make something to eat as usually when I’ve had a busy day, I don’t get time to eat that much so I’ll go and make something to eat, on this occasion I had some chicken and veg, when this has cooked, I will go and eat this in my room and either watch some Netflix or watch some TV.
The next thing I’m eager to do after a long day is to shove my hair up in a ponytail and take all my makeup off. I will get all my skincare products and then I will do my full skincare routine. I will then hop in the shower and have a bit of a wind down, some days I will do a face mask along with my skincare routine like I did on this occasion. I also like to do my skincare routine throughout winter as my skin becomes very dry which definitely isn’t nice.
After this I will usually write some blog posts that I hadn’t finished from the morning before and I will also plan out the next weeks worth of blog posts just so when I’m writing them it makes it so much easier to know what I’m going to write and also what images I’m going to get for them. After doing this I will then spend some time catching up on YouTube videos that I haven’t watched yet. As I still have assignments due in throughout Christmas, I will have a look through these and see if there is any work I can get on with.
When this finishes, I will do some exercise, that’s only if I haven’t found time to go to the gym during the day. I will either run to the gym and get in a quick gym session before it closes or I will do an at home workout. Throughout the new year I want to start doing yoga and refresh my mind so I’m currently working on finding new techniques.
As it’s nearly Christmas and I’m a sucker for staying organised, I will take some time to get some wrapping done, thankfully I have got the majority of my presents wraps but I took some time to wrap all of my families before going home for Christmas.
I will then start getting ready to go up to bed, I will take my hair out of its ponytail and then I will lie in bed for a few hours on my laptop or my phone. Before going to sleep I like to read a book or something to wind down and I don’t like going to sleep after being on my phone. And then I will go the sleep. As it’s advent, I’ve been saying up till midnight pretty much every night just so I can open my advent calendar early
