January Look Book: What I’ve been Loving & Wearing

Fashion content? This isn’t the normal Beauty and Lifestyle Chloe everyone knows. Well, I want to integrate some fashion content into my blog and I thought what better way to do this than start a good ol’ series on chlolauren. A while back I decided I wanted to create a series on my blog and something that really does interest me is Fashion, I was brainstorming this for a while and I finally came up with an idea that I would create a lookbook every month with an accumulation of my favourite outfits from that current month.

To introduce this series a bit, every month, I’m going to be showing you some of my favourite outfits from the month and say where the items are from and how versatile they are to style. I will be uploading this the 21st of every month just to make it consistent. I am open to suggestions with this series also if you are interested in seeing more Fashion content, leave me some suggestions in the comments!

As I said at the start, I haven’t actually uploaded to much fashion content so this is a new beginning for me on my blog and I can’t explain how excited I am for this! Even though, saying this, I have uploaded some pretty useful content in relation to fashion, here are the links if you wan’t to give them a read after this:

So now, I’m going to show you my favourite outfits from January. January is one of those months that you don’t really do much and you spend all your money on clothes in the January sales, or is that just me?

OUTFIT ONE

Something I’ve been wearing quite a lot throughout January is skirts. The one I’ve been wearing quite a lot this month is this one from Sainsbury’s which is so different for my style. It’s a blue shade and it goes perfectly with any outfit! Also, funny story, I got this coat that I’m wearing in the photo from the charity shop for only £1 what a bargain right?

I’ve been wearing this skirt with either a long sleeved black top for a jumper and wearing it with some tights throughout this cold weather, I could also definitely wear it throughout Spring and Summer due the colours!

OUTFIT TWO & THREE

Another thing I’ve been loving throughout January is culotte jeans. I got these ones quite recently from New Look for only £8 in the sale and I haven’t took them of since! Their perfect to go with any outfit and I know I’ll get so much wear out of them! Another pair of culotte jeans that I’ve been loving at the start of 2019 are my blue denim ones that I got quite a while back but I’m still in love! Their perfect for everyday outfits and you can definitely jazz them up! I can’t actually find the exact one’s but here are some really similar ones I found in Stradivarious; https://www.stradivarius.com/gb/new-collection/partnumbers/mid-rise-culottes-c1020132524p300843512.html?LGWCODE=0873073070138I2018%3B123611%3B7451&colorId=701&gclid=Cj0KCQiAj4biBRC-ARIsAA4WaFjArL9c3GLjek8oloQ_KF4siAXp2d1NrPuT3yMBR6qBd8W648v2C5EaAlgVEALw_wcB

OUTFIT FOUR

Another piece I’ve been loving this month is my green midi skirt. I feel like every blogger owns and rocks a midi skirt and of course I had to hop on the bandwagon. The one I’ve been living in is this khaki one I got from https://www.newlook.com/uk/womens a few months ago. They have some really nice midi midi skirts at the moment and I’m tempted to buy them all! Midi skirts are so versatile and can be warn with pretty much everything! I can’t wait to live in them throughout Spring and summer!

OUTFIT FIVE

A January look book wouldn’t be complete without a cute jumper. The one I’ve been wearing to death this January is this brown striped one from New Look, I got it in the sale for only £10.

I’ve been pairing this jumper with my a-line leather skirt which I’ve also been in love with this month and some tights. This definitely makes the perfect winter outfit and the jumper is so cosy! Here is the link to the jumper: https://www.newlook.com/uk/womens/clothing/knitwear/brown-stripe-fluffy-jumper-/p/587628429, the skirt was from Primark!

Thank you so much for reading, another one of these posts will be going up on the 21st February!
