Spring Wardrobe Essentials

It is now March and it is soon (hopefully) going to be Spring which is definitely my favourite season. I’ve been spending the month investing in some new spring essentials in my wardrobe and I thought it would make the perfect post to help you gals out!

This spring I really wanted to invest in items that are going to take me through into summer and I’ve been loving puffed sleeves and midi skirts which will probably be my SS19 essentials.

Here are the items I feel are a definite in everyone’s spring wardrobe, if you want to see some of my other fashion posts, here are the links to some if you want to have a read of those once you’ve had a read of this one,

February Look book, What I’ve been loving and wearing

Why everyone needs to be educated on Fast Fashion

A good ol’ midi skirt

As I said at the start, I am a huge lover of a midi skirt and as I can tell by Instagram, everyone else does too! A good ol’ midi skirt is a definite essential this spring, I know I’m going to be rocking one whenever I get the chance. Some of the best places to get affordable midi skirts are New Look and Primark. All the midi skirts I currently own are from New Look so I’ll definitely be investing in some new ones throughout spring! I feel like you can never go wrong with a midi skirt and they are so easy to style, you could wear one with a jumper or a white/black t-shirt.

Mom Jeans

Mom jeans have been in fashion for a few years now and I’m still living for it, all of my favourite outfits feature my classic mom jeans. They definitely make up some classic spring outfits. The way I’ll be styling my mom jeans throughout spring is with a plain t-shirt or a top that has puffed sleeves because they are so in fashion this SS19.

Plain white and black t-shirt

In everyone’s wardrobe there should be a plain white and black t-shirt which can go with almost everything, they are definitely an essential when it comes to any season. I popped into Primark and they had some really good quality plain tee’s for only £4 in so many colours which I’m definitely going to need and pick up.

Little black dress

Would it be an essentials list if I didn’t mention a little black dress? No matter the season, a little black dress is an essential in case you have a last minute party to go to but you have nothing to wear or there’s a burst of sunshine (I know, it sounds almost untrue) and you want to go on a day out with your pals. I know boohoo have some really lovely simple dresses that are super affordable.

Floral dresses

Something I’ve been purchasing a lot of recently are floral dresses. I’ve so many cute ones recently and I can’t wait to wear them throughout SS19. Dresses are a definite must this Spring and Summer so hopefully we get some warm weather! I’ve been loving shein for really affordable dresses!

That’s all of my Spring favourites that I feel everyone should have in their wardrobes! Let me know in the comments what your spring must haves are!

Thank you!

  1. I definitely need to up my fashion game and honestly I agree with all of these. I’m not brave enough for mom jeans but I adore plain black/white tees, midi skirts and floral dresses! I definitely need to grab some staple and basic ones which will last me! Asos also do great skirts too if you’re looking for more Chloe. Another great post girl!
