Pixi Vitamin-C Collection: Review*

Hello all, I hope you are all well. Today I have a really exciting blog post because I’m going to be giving my review on the new Pixi Vitamin-C Collection. All these products were kindly gifted to me by the Pixi team which I am highly grateful for and I’m excited to be working with them in the future!

Today however, I thought I would put together a post all about the collection and give you my honest opinions on all the products. As you know, I like to be completely honest and transparent when it comes to these kinda posts so all the opinions are my own and I haven’t been told to write this post!

So, I have been testing these products for around a week now and I think I have got the gist of all the products and how I’m getting on with them! Throughout this post, I am going to be rating all the products out of 5 and then at the end I will recommend the products I think you should add to your own skincare collection!

I have got 5 items from their collection and they have a vitamin wake up mist that I really want to get my hands on! The prices of these products are on the higher side so keep that in mind if you are thinking of picking up any of these products!

Here is the list of products I have to review along with there prices:

Vitamin-C Juice Cleanser- £18

Vitamin-C Toner- £10 or £18 for 250ml

Vitamin- C Serum- £26

Vitamin- C Caviar Balm- £24

Vitamin- C Lotion- £24

Pixi Vitamin-C Juice Cleanser

Rating:

The first thing I noticed when I received this collection is the scent, it definitely gives of a really fresh, summer scent and it feels very refreshing and nourishing on the skin! The one thing I struggled with when it came to this product was knowing how to use it, it has this weird pump that you use but when you’ve worked out how to use it, its a really good tool because you can use however much you need without wasting any product. Something I really liked about this product was that you don’t need water which makes it so much easier to add it to your everyday skincare routine! When I am using this cleanser I can definitely see the difference in my skin before and after, it lifts up all my impurities leaving my skin feeling really smooth and fresh!

If you are going to buy anything from this collection, I’d 100% recommend this product!

Pixi Vitamin-C Tonic

Rating:

This has definitely got to be one of my favorite toners that I’ve ever used or the best one I’ve used in a very long time. If you want a toner that really gets deep into the skin and lifts up all your impurities, you definitely need to pick this one up! When I used this for the first time, I could tell that the cotton pad was a lot darker than it usually is and that just told me that it had lifted all the impurities and dirt from my face. I could definitely tell the difference in my skin after I’d used it. My skin felt considerably cleaner and brighter and nourished at the same time. I’d highly recommend this toner.

Pixi Vitamin-C Serum

Rating:

Don’t get me wrong, I really like this product but I’ve never actually used a serum on my face before so I’m not really sure on the benefits. When I have been using this Serum, I can definitely tell a difference in my skin, my skin doesn’t look so dry and it feels very nourishing. I’d recommend this product if you are looking for something to give your skin that added moisture but I don’t think I’d recommend it for oily skin!

Pixi Vitamin-C Caviar Balm

Rating:

If you have dry skin, this is the product for you. Whenever I apply this to my skin it just feels like it sinks in and leaves my skin feeling really hydrated and nourished. It definitely adds that drop of health into your skin and makes you look really glowy from within. One thing I have recognized with this product is that it can feel quite sticky but to me that just shows how much moisture it is going to give my skin.

Pixi Vitamin-C Lotion

Rating:

If you want a moisturizer that nourishes your skin and leaves it feeling really smooth, you need this lotion. I can sometimes have dry skin and some of my dry skin tends to stick to certain places and this product has worked amazingly at budging that dry skin. I think this product would be perfect for Autumn and Winter for when it is cold!

That is my review of all the Pixi Vitamin-C products! Thank you so much for reading!

What is your favourite Pixi product?

  1. I’ve tried a few of these products before and I’ve had a few similar thoughts as you. I found that the caviar balm can be sticky so I usually only apply the smallest amount and pat it into the skin. I think I prefer the vitamin c toner over the glow tonic if I’m honest. I really want to try the juice cleanser as it sounds amazing. This was a great way of reviewing products and I found it really easy and helpful to read. Great post!
